(Maryam) 19 : 98

And how many generations have We destroyed before them? Can you perceive any footprint of them or hear any whisper of them?

It is told in verses 23: 99-100 about the death scene of an Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who didn’t testify Adhikr as: “When death comes to him, he will say: ‘My Lord! You send me back so that I might do righteousness in that which I left behind’. No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day of Resurrection”. Verse 36: 12 says: “Indeed We shall revive the dead, We are Recording all that they are sending ahead and that their footprints left behind, We have Recorded everything in an Open Ledger”.

The believer who testifies Adhikr will indulge in a lifestyle beneficial for 1000 communities of Lord’s creatures as explained in verse 4: 85. So he will receive a reward in the graveyard for his truthful life in this world. See explanation 13: 42; 16: 26 and 17: 16.
